This special exhibit at the Keauhou Beach Resort features stunning images of Papahanumokuakea (Northwest Hawaiian Islands) by internationally noted photographer Susan Middleton.
This exciting two-day event is held annually at the Parker Ranch Rodeo Arena in Waimea as a fundraiser to provide scholarships for school-age children of Parker Ranch employees. As the event celebrates its 34th year and all of Hawaii celebrates "The Year of the Paniolo," the rodeo is highly anticipated with loads of family-style fun.
Saturday’s fun kicks off at 12 noon with a round up of rodeo activities, which may include everything from dally team roping, double mugging, po’o wai u, to bull riding, junior bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, steer un-decorating and wild cow races.
Sunday’s celebration begins at 11 a.m. with more rodeo action. Ono (delicious) food and refreshments are available.
Tickets are available in advance at the Parker Ranch Store and at the gate on rodeo days. Children 10 and under are free.

Formerly know as the Aloha Festivals, this month-long event celebrates Hawaii’s aloha spirit and cultural traditions.
Highlights include falsetto singing and storytelling, Miss Aloha Nui and poke contests at the Waikoloa Beach Resort the first week of September; paniolo parade and hoolaulea in Waimea Sept. 13.
